WHITE PLAINS – A 69-year-old Tuckahoe man has been arrested by federal authorities and charged with sexual exploitation of a seven-year-old child and with transporting child pornography from Fairfield County, Connecticut to Westchester County, New York.
“John Mueser allegedly used his position of trust as a tutor to engage in unspeakable acts with a seven-year-old child,” said Acting US Attorney Audrey Strauss. “Alleged conduct such as Mueser’s can inflict long-lasting negative effects on victims which no child should ever endure.”
It is alleged that he engaged in sexually explicit conduct, recording it with his iPhone and then transporting the images across state lines.
Mueser was charged with sexual exploitation, which carries 15 to 30 years in prison, and transportation of child pornography, which carries a sentence of five to 20 years in prison.
