KINGSTON – Neighbors were able to help a tenant off the roof of a burning building in Kingston on Tuesday morning.
City Fire Chief Mark Brown said the man was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Two other people were displaced when fire damaged one apartment in a structure at 197-199-201 Wall Street.
An initial report of two other people being trapped inside proved unfounded, the chief said.
The apartment at 201 Wall was damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
