POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Court Judge Peter Forman held a lead of more than 7,000 votes over his Democratic challenger Jessica Segal on election night.  The pendulum has swung in the other direction and Segal now has a sizeable lead.

As of Tuesday night’s counting of paper ballots, Segal is leading Judge Forman by 2,942 votes.  Some 2,500 Ballots from the heavily Democratic City of Poughkeepsie are expected to be opened and tallied today at the Dutchess County Board of Elections.
Facing the nearly 3,000 vote deficit before the city’s votes are counted, Judge Forman is expected to concede the race to former Assistant District Attorney Jessica Segal later today.
