SAN ANTONIO, TX – Kaitlyn Lackey, a 2013 graduate of Highland High School joined the US Navy in 2014 and was recently honored for her work.
Lackey is an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handler) 2nd Class, a recruiter assigned to Talent Acquisition Onboarding Center Capital City, and was recognized as Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio’s Junior Sailor of the Year for Fiscal Year 2020.
The award was presented during a Change of Command Ceremony held at Warrior & Family Support Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.
Lackey who became a recruiter in 2019 said “This means a lot to me.” “I am proud to be able to represent my division and fellow shipmates.”
NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
