New COVID-19 positive cases in focus areas up in Rockland, down in Orange

ALBANY – The Rockland County red-zone focus area percent of positive cases tested on Tuesday, the latest day of statistics, showed a rate of 3.43 percent, up one percent from Monday, which had a 2.48 percent rate of positive cases. The seven-day average was 3.63 percent in the Spring Valley-Monsey area.

In Orange County, the Tuesday rate of new positive cases in the orange-zone focus area was 0.88 percent in Palm Tree-Monroe. The Monday rate was 2.08 percent while the seven-day average was 2.57 percent.
