KINGSTON – A Kingston man has been charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as several traffic infractions.

On October 27 at about 4 p.m., Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies spotted Timothy Martinez, 30, driving a vehicle with a temporary Texas registration that belonged to another car.

Investigation alleged the temporary registration was forged, printed on a household printer, and placed on the vehicle with cardboard.

Martinez was later released with an appearance ticket returnable to Esopus Town Court at a later date.
