ALBANY – Over the last seven days, the rate of coronavirus positivity in the Rockland and Orange County hotspots has declined, Governor Cuomo announced on Sunday.

In Rockland County, the red-zone focus area percentage of positive cases dipped from 3.65 percent to 2.78 percent over the past week.

In Orange County’s red-zone, the positivity rate fell from 2.64 percent one week ago to 1.21 percent on Saturday, the last day statistics were reported.

“That is great news. It says focus works, and it says we can get the positivity under control,” said the governor.
