Man charged with stalking ex-girlfriend, setting her house on fire

WHITE PLAINS – A Mount Vernon man has been indicted on 15 counts for stalking and harassing a former girlfriend on four separate occasions.

Tony Clark, 36, was indicted by a Westchester County grand jury in connection with four incidents two in July and one each in August and September.

In the August incident, Clark was charged with setting two fires in her apartment, snatching the phone from the victim’s daughter when she tried to call the police and attempted to assault the woman.

Clark was charged with criminal tampering, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, burglary, criminal mischief, arson, endangering the welfare of a child, harassment and criminal contempt.

He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending a future court appearance in January 2021.
