ALBANY – Governor Cuomo, Thursday, renewed his call for all yeshivas in red zone hotspot clusters to close down immediately.

He said many Hasidic schools have closed, but there needs to be full compliance to bring down the spread of COVID-19.

It’s not that they are not complying with the current red zone rule, they never complied with any of the closedown rules going back to March. That’s why some find this shocking,” he said.

The Monroe-Palm Tree and Spring Valley areas are among the red zone clusters for the coronavirus.
