Air National Guard advisory committee seeks members

STEWART AIRPORT – The Stewart Restoration Advisory Committee (RAC) is looking for community members who care about the environmental projects as Stewart Air National Guard base to fill two open positions on the committee.

Persons interested in sharing their time and talents to learn about the environmental projects at the base, share that information with the local community, and share their feedback; can apply to become a RAC member.

The advisory committee was formed following after it was confirmed that the chemical PFAS that contaminated the Newburgh City water supply had originated from the Stewart Air National Guard Base.
