GOSHEN – A member of the Orange County grand jury has tested positive for COVID-19, District Attorney David Hoovler announced on Thursday.

As a result, the county has taken action, the DA said.

“On advice of the Orange County Department of Health, the district attorney’s office is suspending grand jury operations for 14 days and the Orange County Department of Health is investigating the positive COVID test within the grand jury,” he said.

Hoovler said the action is being taken in the best interest of the health and safety of the jurors and DA staff.
