Man found dead in gas station parking lot

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police in the Town of Wallkill are investigating the death of a 25-year-old Port Jervis man, who was found slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle, which was in the parking lot of the Citgo gas station at 72 Route 17K.

A police officer found the vehicle around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances is continuing.
