Kingston man charged with distributing child pornography

ALBANY – A 38-year-old Kingston man has been charged in a federal criminal complaint with distributing child pornography.

It is alleged that on dates in March and April, Thomas O’Bryan used the Kik phone messaging app to distribute child pornography.

If convicted, he faces from five to 20 years in prison and five years to life of supervised release.

The case is being investigated by the FBI and its Child Exploitation Task Force with assistance from the State Police and is being prosecuted by Assistant US Attorney Rachel Williams.
