CARMEL – Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. is seeking the public’s assistance in locating alleged rapist Jose Tapia.
According to a flyer distributed by Langley’s office, 45-year-old Jose Tapia is wanted on a warrant for the charges of Rape in the first degree, Criminal Contempt, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Menacing.
Tapia was last known to frequent the City of Peekskill area.
Anyone with information regarding Tapia’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-225-4300.
