MONTICELLO – Two drive-thru Census events are being held at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library parking lot on Prince Street in Monticello. The events, on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 23, will give people the opportunity to complete the 2020 Census while seated in their car.
When you arrive, volunteers will hand over a laptop for you to complete the census on. The volunteers will be wearing the appropriate personal protection and participants are asked to do the same.
On September 15, the volunteers will be present from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. On September 23, residents can participate between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Voter registration will also be available on both dates and times. Participants will receive a gift bag that will include honey sticks produced by local farmers.
