VILLAGE OF FISHKILL – Reports of a fire in a Fishkill apartment complex has brought several fire departments to the raging fire.
At 11:21 Sunday, the Fishkill fire department responded to the call at 1300 Max Way, building 13, and confirmed the fire and requested a 2nd alarm to bring additional departments and manpower to the scene.
The fire has burned through the roof in several locations. Joining Fishkill in the efforts are the Rombout, City of Beacon, East Fishkill, Hughsonville, New Hamburg, and Wappingers Falls fire departments.
East Fishkill, Glenham, and Beekman fire departments have been relocated or placed on standby to provide coverage.
Representatives from the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, Mobile Life Support Services, and Central Hudson are assisting at the scene.
