SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties man has been charged with harassment and trespassing after he allegedly entered the Washboard Laundromat at 40 Partition Street in the Village of Saugerties and had approached the owner in a threatening manner despite being told several times that he was not to be inside the laundromat and to leave.

Saugerties Police charged James Rucano, 47, when they were called to the laundromat at about 5:12 p.m. on August 11.

He was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Saugerties Village Justice Court.
