Kingston man arrested in Greene County with heroin, crack cocaine, cash

CAIRO – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 34-year-old Kingston man on felony drug possession charges.

David Smith was charged with two counts of felony drug possession with intent to sell, another count of felony drug possession and four counts of misdemeanor drug possession.

Smith was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 in the Town of Cairo on Thursday, August 13 and found in possession of 246 bags of heroin, some 18.2 grams of crack cocaine, a large amount of cash, and various quantities of several other controlled substances.

Smith was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Cairo Town Court.
