Peekskill man indicted for murder of Mohegan Lake man

WHITE PLAINS – A Peekskill man has been indicted by a Westchester County grand jury on murder and other charges in connection with the shooting death of another man in Peekskill early in the morning of Saturday, May 9.

It is alleged that Michael Jenkins, 21, met the victim, Emanuel Jordan, on Friday evening on Paulding Street where he robbed and murdered him.

Peekskill Police arrested Jenkins.

The grand jury indicted him on two counts of murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $500,000 cash bail or bond or $5 million partially secured bond.
