POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Comptroller’s Office has completed two reports related to claims for reimbursement of service.

Comptroller Robin Lois said they reviewed the annual Maintenance in Lieu of Rent report prepared by the county Department of Public Works and the county’s Indirect Cost Allocation Plan by the comptroller’s office.

“Our work is to gather and consolidate all of the costs in the various departments,” she said. “It is a voluminous analysis and the actual reports are hundreds of pages long. But basically, we are summarizing these costs and allocating them so that we can get money back for these different programs.”

Based on the reports Lois estimated the county will receive a total of some $2.2 million in 2021.
