GOSHEN – Orange County’s 911 emergency telephone system was off-line Tuesday night following the heavy rains and strong winds that rolled through the area during the day. Trees, utility poles and wires were brought down as result.
All municipalities alerted their residents via email, social media and robocalls that should they need emergency assistance, they should call their individual police or ambulance service phone numbers.
