MID-HUDSON – Flooded roads, tree limbs and utility wires down, tree branches and wire burning and car accidents are the order of the day as the tropical storm dumps heavy rain on the region.

Wires are down from Grahamsville to the Town of Newburgh. A tree was down blocking one lane on the southbound Thruway near Spring Valley and large power outages were reported in the Carmel, Cornwall, Stormville and Arlington areas.

Power is out in areas of the region – if you are among those without electricity, call your utility company.

Don’t go out and of you must, do not drive through flooded roads.

If you happen to snap any photos of downed trees or other storm-related damage, send them to us as [email protected].
