COVID-19 scare at Fishkill Town Hall

FISHKILL – There was a COVID-19 scare at Fishkill Town Hall this week as a member of the town comptroller’s office tested positive for the deadly virus.

Town Supervisor Ozzie Albra said one of the four members of that office tested positive early in the week resulting in that office being quarantined and the impacted person staying home.

The employee was tested a second and third time, both with negative results.

That meant town hall and the comptroller’s office were given an ‘all clear’ to resume normal operations and Albra said town employees can breathe easier.
