NEW ROCHELLE – A 41-year-old New Rochelle woman has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing another woman in the neck. It is believed that the alleged assailant’s ex-finance is the current boyfriend of the victim.
New Rochelle Police were called at 7:16 Tuesday morning to the vicinity of 137 Hillandale Drive in New Rochelle where they found a 30-year-old female victim with a deep puncture wound to the left side of her neck.
Also at the scene was Alika Crew who was rendering medical aid to the victim and claiming to be a good Samaritan.
The victim told police that Crew was in fact her assailant and that she had been stabbed.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance. Crew was booked for attempted murder.
