Dutchess Sheriff’s Office ‘reviews’ incidents at Pleasant Valley

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a review of incidents that occurred on Saturday, July 18 during demonstrations in the Town of Pleasant Valley.

The review began immediately following the event, officials said.

Anyone with information or evidence of criminal activity is asked to call the sheriff’s office tipline at 845-605-CLUE or email dcsotips@gmail.com.

A group of Black Lives Matter supporters has planned a peaceful rally and a police-support group also arrived in Pleasant Valley with both sides clashing at one point, which was recorded on video.
