Newburgh man arrested in Ulster County drug investigation

KINGSTON – A 33-year-old Newburgh man was arrested on Friday, July 17 following a long-term heroin and fentanyl sales investigation in the Town of Rosendale.

Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team arrested Marcus Williams on a charge of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is alleged to be in possession of a quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine at the time of his arrest.

Williams was released with an appearance ticket to appear in Rosendale Town Court at a later date.
