LIVINGSTON MANOR – School officials in Livingston Manor are seeking input from district residents about how they feel the upcoming fall school year should look.

Possibilities for reopening include all students attending school every school day; a blended model with a rotating schedule of in-person instruction and remote leaning; and all students continuing the remote learning model exclusively.

School officials said there is no replacement for full-time, in-person schooling to accomplish all that should occur in the educational experience.

But, officials said any model that includes students attending school in-person will include protocols and measures that meet or exceed health and safety guidelines.

The school district has posted a survey online to gain input on the reopening. It is not to be interpreted as a means to see which plans respondents are ‘voting’ on.
