Fatality in early morning Thruway crash

TUXEDO – The crash between a car and a tractor-trailer early this morning resulted in a fatality, State Police on the Thruway confirmed.

The northbound lanes of the highway were shut down between exits 15A and 16 following 3:10 a.m. accident.

A car wound up underneath the truck requiring a number of area fire departments to respond to extricate the victim.
