KINDERHOOK – State Police have determined that a gun that was in possession of homeowners in Kinderhook during a protest march was legally possessed.

Troopers said the incident, which was captured on video obtained by police did not reveal any violation of law.

Back on Jul 11, police responded to the Village of Kinderhook for a report of a disturbance.

At about 4:15 p.m., during a march through the village, protestors reported two local residents initiated a verbal argument while armed with a handgun.

A police investigation found there was no criminality involved.
