Areas of Sullivan County also got hit.

The Orange County Emergency Management Office advised motorists to avoid the Town of Newburgh in the area of Interstate 84 and Route 9W from North Street to Chestnut Lane.

Other areas also reported impassible roads including in parts of Dutchess and Ulster counties.

There were also reports of flooded buildings.
