WASHINGTON – FEMA’s Emergency Management Performance Grant program is providing funding to area counties as they continue to manage the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funding will provide recipients with costs associated with virus-related planning, training, travel, support from consultants or contractors, equipment purchases, and facility construction and maintenance.
Funding allocations are derived from a population-based formula and require a one-to-one cost match from each county.
The grant allocations for area counties are:
- Columbia – $13,794
- Dutchess – $65,035
- Greene – $10,760
- Orange – $81,502
- Putnam – $21,798
- Rockland – $68,139
- Sullivan – $16,953
- Ulster – $22,203
- Westchester – $207,489
