NEVERSINK – Three siblings from Brooklyn, two adult brothers, ages 18 and 21, and their 15-year-old sister, who went hiking on the Neversink Gorge Trail on Tuesday, spent a harrowing night in the woods until they were located and brought to safety early Wednesday morning.

When they realized they were lost they called 911.

State troopers, state forest rangers, Rock Hill firefighters and Hatzolah EMTs spent the night searching for them. They were located shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday. It wasn’t until 5:30 a.m. that they were brought out of the woods and to waiting first responders who checked them.
