KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has charged an Esopus man with criminal contempt for allegedly violating an order of protection.
Deputies had responded to a residence on Old Post Road for a domestic dispute early on June 20 where they found Kurton Lindow, 33, in violation of the Ulster County Family Court order.
He was arraigned and released to reappear in town court at a later date.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the State Police from the Highland barracks.
