MILFORD, PA – A 20-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man drowned in the Delaware River in Pike County, Pennsylvania late Sunday afternoon.
The Pike County Coroner’s Office said the man was with a group when he drowned.
His body was recovered at Milford Beach off Route 209.
Port Jervis, Sparrowbush and Huguenot firefighters and the Orange County Battalion 8 dive team were called to the scene to assist in the recovery.
Authorities did not immediately release the name of the victim.
