TOWN OF WALLKILL – An accident involving an overturned vehicle has claimed one life and seriously injured three others, State Police Troop F spokesman Trooper Steven Nevel said.
The early Friday afternoon accident occurred on Route 17 westbound between exits 116 and 117 in the Town of Wallkill. Westbound traffic was being diverted at exit 118.
Ambulances transported the injured to an area hospital.
State Police are investigating the cause of the accident and were assisted by Wallkill Town Police.
