BEACON – A member of the Beacon City Council is incensed by fliers that were discovered on the doorsteps of residents of the LGBTQ community and their allies.
The fliers had contained pro-life/anti-abortion messages on them and the word “death” next to “Planned Parenthood.”*
Councilman Terry Nelson is upset over the discovery.
“Unfortunately, a first-grader of one of those families found the letter,” he said. “This has to stop. You have to stop doing this. To the coward who left those fliers, myself and a bunch of other people are allies of the LBGTQ community and just know that there are more of us than there are of you.”
The fliers were discovered over last weekend.
