Brooklyn man arrested after fleeing from police on stolen dirt bike

KINGSTON – A Brooklyn man has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property after he fled from Rosendale Police on a dirt bike when they attempted to conduct a traffic stop. He crashed the bike and fled on foot, but was later apprehended.

It is alleged that Joel Rodriguez, 20, was riding the dirk bike that had been stolen from a residence in High falls.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to New Paltz Town Court at a later date.
