KINGSTON – An athletic director at Kingston High School has been arrested following an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center for allegedly engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old.
Authorities said Erin Koonz, 29, of Kingston and the female victim had engaged in illegal contact.
Koonz, arrested on Friday, June 12, was charged with misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Ulster Town Court.
The investigation into the charges began on March 3.
