KINGSTON – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Shandaken man on child pornography and marijuana possession charges.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 10, sheriff’s detectives and investigators from the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Silver Hollow Road in Chichester.
Seized was evidence of child pornography on a computer and approximately 15 pounds of marijuana.
The occupant, Christopher Piccoli, 34, was charged with felonies of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child and criminal possession of marijuana as well as a misdemeanor of unlawfully growing cannabis.
He was released with an appearance ticket returnable to Shandaken Town Court.
Police said the investigation is continuing and additional charges relating to the computer evidence may be filed.
