GOSHEN – Many summer programs and activities have been cancelled because of COVID-19 and concerns about social distancing. The Dutchess County Fair, Bethel Woods’ concert series, and a host of local events have been cancelled, but Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus is not giving up on summer events.
He wants to afford county residents every opportunity to the summer.
“I am going to move forward with as many things as we can because I think we need it and if we can do it safely, I am giving it the green light, but we could get the nix by the governor’s office,” he said.
Neuhaus is pushing to hold the annual New York Air Show at Stewart Airport later this year.
