POUGHKEEPSIE – The City of Poughkeepsie has created a video and new PKGO Forward logo to welcome the partial reopening of the area as people to back to work, open their businesses and push for an economic recovery.

The logo features the city’s classic beehive icon and a forward arrow, building on the city’s PKGO marketing strategy.

“We are excited to move forward with reopening and believe it is essential to our community,” said Mayor Rob Rolison. “But we have to do it in a responsible way that places health and safety as the priorities.”

Phase two of economic reopening as the region continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, began on Tuesday, and includes outdoor dining, professional services, finance and insurance, retail, administrative support and real estate/rental leasing.
