TOWN OF WALLKILL – A Town of Wallkill man was committed to the Orange County Jail early Wednesday morning on $100,000 bail or $100 million bond in connection with a stabbing and sexual assault of a 41-year-old woman.
Wallkill Police were called to an address at 28 Stone Ridge Road where Police Officer Joseph Levy apprehended Charles Krueger, 35, who was charged with first-degree rape and assault.
The victim was transported by Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance to Orange Regional Medical Center where she was evaluated and released.
Krueger is scheduled to return to court next week.
