WHITE PLAINS – A White Plains man has been arraigned on a charge or murder in the fatal shooting of another White Plains man just before midnight on Wednesday, May 27 at a housing complex on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in White Plains.
Brandon Williams, 25, allegedly shot and killed 34-year-old Deron Strange.
Following an intensive investigation to track down Williams, with the aid of the FBI Violent Felony Task Force, White Plains Police arrested him Friday night at a hotel in Harrison.
The investigation is continuing. Williams was remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending a future court appearance.
Assistant District Attorney Michelle Lopez of the Superior Court Trial Division is prosecuting the homicide.
