EAST FISHKILL — Town Police in East Fishkill are investigating reports of two stolen vehicles in recent days and several larcenies from vehicles on a reoccurring cycle.
The incidents are throughout the town and not concentrated in any one area.
Police said the crimes typically occur in the overnight hours.
There have been similar reports in neighboring towns, counties and states. The perpetrators are entering unlocked vehicles and stealing items of value.
If keys are located, they will take the car.
Police urge everyone to remove valuables from their vehicles, including keys, purses, credit cards, cellular phones, tablets, loose change, and any other personal items.
Lock your vehicles at night and store your key in your home. Any suspicious activity can be reported to East Fishkill Police at 845-221-2111.
