VALLEY COTTAGE – The Clarkstown Police Department, with their drone, have been deployed to help assist with the rescue of an injured hiker, located in Rockland Lake State Park late Friday night.
The New York State Park Police, Rockland Lake FD, Rockland Technical Rescue Team, Valley Cottage FD, Rockland Paramedics, and Congers Valley Cottage Ambulance were all operating at the scene as of 12:30 AM Saturday morning.
The 1,100-acre park is located on a ridge of Hook Mountain above the west bank of the Hudson River.
