POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning, according to police radio reports.
The incident took place on Spruce Street near Delafield Street.
Initial reports say a 35-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was transported to an area hospital.
