NEW WINDSOR – The Orange County Funding Corporation, a sister to the county Industrial Development Agency, has just approved 46 business loans as part of its program to offer up to $10,000 each given the hardships experienced because of COVID-19.

The agency had set aside $500,000 for the loans, said CEO Laurie Villasuso.

“The Orange County Funding Corporation is very excited to roll out funds to businesses that need them the most. They are all small businesses, under 25 employees. They are certainly looking for resources at this time and the OCFC was able to provide that,” she said.

The agency created the program, appropriated the funds, reviewed applications, and awarded the loans all within one month.
