LIBERTY – Police were looking for a suspect late Sunday night in the shooting of a person at a Liberty motel. Emergency services radio reports indicated a victim had been shot in the leg at around 10 p.m. and was being transported to a hospital.
A male suspect was being sought in connection with the Knights Inn motel incident in the village of Liberty.
The alleged perpetrator was believed to be headed toward Monticello, according to the radio reports.
