DOVER – Authorities have arrested a 34-year-old Albany man for allegedly engaging in multiple occasions of sexual assaults on a child under the age of 13.
State Police from the Dover Plains and Wappinger barracks in conjunction with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center arrested Daniel Laporte on May 2 on a charge of felony predatory sexual assault against a child.
On April 29 in the town of Dover, the State Police were notified of a possible sexual assault against a child. An investigation led to the arrest of Laporte on the charge.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
