COVID-19 death toll continues to rise

HUDSON VALLEY – The number of people in the Hudson Valley/Catskills to have succumbed to the coronavirus has reached 2,029, according to state and local information.

More than half of those who have passed – 1,086 – lived in Westchester County.

Rockland County has lost 411 residents.

A total of 335 people have died in Orange County as of Saturday’s reporting.

Seventy-five people lost their lives in Dutchess County.

Putnam County lost 45 residents while 42 people died in Ulster County.

On Monday, Sullivan reported a total of 23 deaths and Columbia County lost 16 residents.

Three people have passed in Greene County.
